The data is fully anonymized and the system is decentralized, keeping the hospitals in full control of the data.

My [__ICD10gm__ package](https://edonnachie.github.io/ICD10gm/) for #RStats contains the complete metadata of the German ICD-10 and tools for working with ICD-10 codes.

ICD10gm is designed to assist with the secondary analysis of health service routine data, helping to group diagnoses according to a given comorbidity scheme while accounting for changes between the annual ICD-10-GM versions.
