@JohnConstableRA I have an #Android phone, and I never used the generic Mastodon app but started directly with one of the alternatives (currently #Tusky, thinking about a switch to #fedilab)

From what I understand is that many #iPhone users have also switched to one of the other apps (basically to anything but #Mastodon), like #IceCubes, #Toot, #Mammoth, #Mona or #Ivory. Some are free, others paid. You could check the posts from @feditips.

@metronomephil @baktelraalis Il y a plusieurs applications qui permettent de suivre d'autres fils locaux. Perso, j'utilise #IceCubes sur mon téléphone (IOS). Je saute d'une instance à une autre. Ça me permet de découvrir des comptes.

@benbloodworth Agreed. I have 3 Mastodon apps in my arsenal. #IceCubes for every day, #Tusker when I want to efficiently interact with the platform, and #Toot! when I want good comment threading. It’s great how many options are out there.
