When Twitter suddenly shovelled third party clients of the cliff without a warning it left #Iconfactory (Twitterriffic) and @tapbots (Tweetbot) with a financial challenge with customers demanding a refund.
The situation isn’t of course them to blame but the asshat running the bird site (and he should pay the refund btw).

My choice was easy since I all ready subscribed to @ivory 🐘

If you do any frontend development on a Mac (not just native Apple platform dev), you should check out #xScope by the #Iconfactory; it's a super-useful tool and they just got screwed over by Twitter.

Per my last boost, #LineaSketch by #Iconfactory is both excellent in its own right *and* a great way to support them after recent events. It’s a win-win - DO IT!

I'm still very saddened by the death of third-party Twitter apps. #Twitterrific from #Iconfactory was what first got me in the door to Twitter almost 15 years ago. I just signed up for the highest tier on their Patreon https://www.patreon.com/iconfactory/ as well as a yearly subscription for their #Wallaroo app https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wallaroo/id1630565980. I really encourage anyone who is able to support the developers that suddenly lost a huge part of their revenue stream to please find ways to do so.
