IDAD 2022: Celebrating the freedom to #share with a new advocacy video

For #IDAD 2022, #FSF staff took to the streets to ask passersby what they think about digital sharing.

In our sixteenth annual International Day Against DRM (IDAD), we stood up for the freedom to share cultural works, continuing our fight against Digital Restrictions Management (#DRM).

In 2019 on the #IDAD (International Day Against #DRM) the @fsfe started its #SoftwareFreedom Podcast with the amazing @pluralistic .

His books are awesome to explain people the bad implications of #DRM for our society, his novels for teenagers inspired me to also write a book about technology and ethics for younger audiences, and I am so thankful for his help for getting the book published under a #CreativeCommons license.

Day without DRM is this Friday! Consider cutting your account(s) with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc., and avoid buying DRM'd music and books from Amazon, etc., for the day (or longer). A dip on the 4th sends a message.
