Another cool critter for #BatAppreciationDay. This is a long-eared Myotis we saw in the Sawtooths.They hunt either by hawking moths in the air, or gleaning prey like moths, spiders, and beetles from tree trunks. Cool critter track I just found. I’m pretty sure it was made by a river #otter. Came from a creek and entered a hole in the lake ice. They can swim under ice 1/4 mile and hold their breath four minutes. #IdahoWildlife
