@tylopoda @VWGroup I think weird can work if the price and offering fits. Just look at the interest surrounding the #Cybertruck. If the #IDBuzz price in the US is higher than that or the #Ford #Lightning, I think it won’t fly. Equally if either of those enter the European market at a price that heavily undercuts the ID.Buzz, things will be very tough for that product.

Another thing that was also confirmed was that the #Cybertruck bed will still be over 6 feet (1.83 metres), and the longest of any full crew cab pickup of that length. It is likely, however, to be shorter than the 6.5’ (1.98 metres) that was thrown around after the original launch event.

Interestingly that bed is not long enough to transport tatamis (e.g. for #aikido). Unlike the @VWGroup #IDBuzz which managed fine once back seats were folded.

@Basmitharts No word on pricing, and it’s unlikely that I will buy one (I’m not in “that” car market, nor am I currently inclined to buy *anything* brand new), but I absolutely love that #Volkswagen made this #IDBuzz, and without any stupid gimmicks like the cutesy flower they added to the dashboard of the new Beetle, basically condemning it to be 99% a women only car.

Ah, damn it. The European #idbuzz was a car I was really interested in buying. But the American version is too big. Literally. It won't fit in my car port.
