➡️ Carpenter Falls is one of the Finger Lakes’ most renowned waterfalls, though far from famous due to its out-of-the-way location.Bear Swamp Creek is funneled into a 5-foot wide notch in the cliff then shot outward, plunging 77 feet over a broad overhanging outcrop of limestone formation, 10 feet thick in this location. Beneath the caprock the bedrock has been undercut and a broad cavern spans behind the falls.
