Anyone have any good tricks to fix #keyboard flex? I've tried some pretty Jank fixes but the flex in the #lenovo #IdeaPad 3 is really bad

Currently thinking about printing a center brace for both inside and underneath the thing to really stabilize it.

I had a #Lenovo #IdeaPad Z570 that died in a strange way. It would not turn on, and upon plugging in 🔌 the power adapter, the LED on the power adapter (not on the laptop) would start flashing. It apparently needed a new motherboard which, outside of the warranty, would cost more than the laptop’s 💻 worth. The flashing adapter LED was very very strange 👻

@patrickdoern Nett, ein T14s werde ich wohl dieses Jahr noch als Arbeitsgerät (als Ersatz für ein T480s) erhalten.
Privat habe ich ein recht potentes #Ideapad, aber die Verarbeitungsqualität ist... naja. Dafür nur halb so teuer wie ein Thinkpad (jeweils Neupreis).

My lenovo ideapad 320 15ikb doesn't turn on anymore. I press the on button, white light gos on for 5 secs, then off again for 5 secs, on again, etc. I Opened it and the cooler fan is doing the same: on and off, 5 secs. Sometimes the screen flickers a slightly bit too. Tried the common tutorials: disconnect battery, CMOS battery, reset battery, etc. Nothing works.

The flicker suggests it's a video problem. But might as well be the.

Any hints?

Meu lenovo ideapad 320 15ikb foi pro saco. Não liga mais. Abri, e fiz as limpezas e resets de rotina, mas nada. Parece que placa mãe foi definitivamente pro saco. Ligo, fica a luz acesa 5 segundos, depois apaga. Abrindo ele dá pra ver que a ventoinha do processador segue o mesmo padrão: liga por 5 segundos, desliga, liga de novo por 5 segundos, etc...

Alguem já passou por isso e tem dicas?

Even though I did not want to, I had to install #windows on my #Lenovo #Ideapad laptop. The wifi card on my #macbook melted and my company's device policy doesn't like the #Linux version of #MicrosoftTeams for whatever reason. At least I was able to put a cool wallpaper on it, and when I get some free time I'll stick #endeavouros on the spare partition :)

Seems going to #fedora 37 still doesn't work with #Lenovo #IdeaPad Flex 5 14" 2-in-1. The trackpad doesn't work nor does the touchscreen. The two reasons I got the device. I was asked to try and switch to kernel 6.1 to test.

I may just put #KDENeon on the device and see what happens.

Supposedly this is the result of #Lenovo and #Microsodt setting a specification, then not following it.
