Propaganda always distorts reality, even when people are fully aware of propaganda tactics.
I'd say let the process play out. I think it was wise for Garland to appoint a special counsel. Like Hillary's emails, the investigation will show at worst carelessness, not malice.
We're 21 months away from the election. Biden had been set to announce his run before this fake scandal broke. We'll see if/how this changes his timing.
Be aware there's about a dozen #idiotballs that the #GQP has teed up. And new ones will pop up every day. Biden will have to successfully volley against all of them if he wants to be a viable candidate.
Any other candidate will be attacked just as viciously as Biden, and if Biden were to step aside we have to be ready for that, too. It goes with the territory.
Just imagine if it were Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom (or anyone else) running on the Dem ticket. Same shit. So we might as well fully back our incumbent president.
Rule #1 of counterdisinfo: DON'T PICK UP THE IDIOT BALL.
That means, when the #GQP is rolling out one of their endless disgusting psyop nothingburgers, don't amplify it in the process of critiquing it.
Don't fall for the false equivalency. If you hear yourself saying: "Well, yeah we really should find out why Biden had those classified documents." Or "You know we really should, at long last, get control of our borders, this can't continue."
What you're doing is validating shit that has nothing to do with reality. It's ALL red herrings.
Not even the most batshit republicans are remotely concerned about the contents of their #idiotballs.
(Because they're all pure power plays.)
They're designed to confuse and deflect.
