Ryan, his grandfather, father, uncle, and brother have all completed the race several times each. Ryan is the first Redington to win. He is the first Native Alaskan to win since 2011, and the first Jr Iditarod champion to win the full race.

Nic's declared his 24-hour rest at Nic-olai. Rare to take it this early in the race, but it also makes sense on paper: you have three breaks to take so why not 25%, 50%, and 75%?
Yes, White Mtn is much more than 75%. Also, I'm not a musher so what do I know? #Iditarod51
