Maybe a weird question:

Is there a way to make notifications not... notify? I'd still like to be able to go to that tab/page and look through replies and follows and such, but I don't want to see it turn blue while I'm on my timeline. I ESPECIALLY don't want to see a number there.

Gives me terrible anxiety :s I'm already getting self conscious about posting things because of it.
