We're working on an #IETF document that aims to establish a common, well-defined baseline for #DNS zone files that can be understood by all implementations. Everyone is welcome to contribute! #IETF117 https://github.com/NLnetLabs/draft-koekkoek-dnsop-zone-file-format/pull/2
I'm going to be in the Bay Area in a week for #IETF117 with my colleagues from DNS-OARC, @dualkei and @mike . We'll be around the #IETF venue as of the 22nd. Please come find us to connect about #DNS or any other #TechCommunity subjects!

It's typical that I get round to updating my current I-Ds only to discover that the submission page is closed due to #ietf117 :-(
With #IETF117 approaching, time to update some existing work and propose new drafts.
Tim is working on updating RFC 8416 (SLURM) with support for ASPA in #RPKI (https://github.com/NLnetLabs/draft-sidrops-slurm-aspa). Philip continues his work on control options for #DNS client proxies (https://github.com/NLnetLabs/draft-homburg-dnsop-codc), and Willem contributes to DNS out-of-protocol signalling (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-grubto-dnsop-dns-out-of-protocol-signalling/).

Pleased to announce that the Applied Networking Research Prize awards for #IETF117 will go to:
Simon Scherrer for his work on modelling the BBR congestion control algorithm (โModel-Based Insights on the Performance, Fairness, and Stability of BBR", ACM IMC 2022); and
Siva Kesava Reddy Kakarla for his work on verifying the correctness of nameservers ("SCALE: Automatically Finding RFC Compliance Bugs in DNS Nameservers", NSDI 2022)
Look out for their award talks during the IRTF Open Meeting at IETF 117 in San Francisco, in the week on 22-28 July 2023, and online.
