The World Bank poured 3.7 billion dollars into fossil fuels around the world last year despite repeated promises to refocus on shifting to a low-carbon economy, according to research from campaign group Ungewald.

The money went through a special form of funding known as trade finance, which is used to facilitate global transactions and is more opaque than standard project finance.

@paoloredaelli Qcad è quello che uso pure io ora, ma di fatto solo per i DWG che (purtroppo) mi mandano visto che il 99% delle persone usa Autocad (craccato, as usual). E' un bellissimo pezzo di Opensource pure quello, e sono ben contento di usare la versione a pagamento per sostenerlo (parlo di #Qcad tra l'altro costa pochissimo). Spero che con IFC le cose cambino e presto. #FreeCAD ora legge/scrive nativamente #IFC, lo stanno implementando in questo momento, c'è molto fermento. #nativeifc

First was an excellent short event at the #IFC on current topics in corporate governance. This was a much more globally representative group than you get in most discussions, and the topics certainly resonated: #algorithms, #bias, #DEI, and quantifiable, standardized #ESG metrics.
