Putting 5,998,794 books on IPFS
Z-Library was a massive “shadow library” of books, similar to Sci-Hub or Library Genesis. Their domains were seized by the FBI, and the (alleged) founders were arrested in Argentina.
The next chapter of shadow libraries is to put the books up on IPFS. This blog post shares where they are so far.
Content-addressed storage, convergent encryption, capabilities, linked data, #IFPS: lots of interesting things put together in #openEngiadina, some reminiscent of #GNUnet and Tahoe-LAFS… and all that in #Guile!
