Today's #earthquake in Turkey has impacted large regions of the country. #HOTOSM mappers and validators are creating the maps needed by the #IFRC (The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies) for recovery operations and humanitarian assistance. Die #OceanViking rettete in int. Gewässern vor #Libyen 37 Menschen. Das kleine Schlauchboot wurde am Morgen per Fernglas gesichtet & war überfüllt. Die Menschen saßen auf den Luftkammern. Das #SOSMed-Team & #IFRC kümmern sich um die Geretteten, die Treibstoffvergiftung & Verbrennungen erlitten haben.

Nach einem Mayday Relay von #AlarmPhone hat die #OceanViking heute Nacht in völliger Dunkelheit 113 Menschen aus einem überfüllten Schlauchboot evakuiert.
Unter den Geretteten sind 23 Frauen, einige schwanger, etwa 30 unbegleitete Minderjährige & 3 Babys, das jüngste 3 Wochen alt. Sie werden jetzt an Bord von
#SOSMediterrannee und #IFRC versorgt.
