It's a hell of a summer of sport. The climbing world cup is on this week along with everything else.
Today was the Women's boulder final. I won't spoil it if you haven't seen it (Maybe tomorrow).

What I will say though is Shauna Coxsey is a natural broadcaster. She's clearly put a lot of thought into her contributions and is making my favourite sport even more watchable.

With the rise of #Climbing as a competition sport, broadcast crews around the world are struggling with how to cover it.
Sadly the #IFSC #ClimbingWorldCup in Seoul is a case study in how not to do it.
Cameras too far back, flattening the action, the only cameras that do give some sense of perspective are bolted to the wall the climbers are climbing on, making them so shaky as to be unusable, and vision mixing that seems to want to show us the athletes brushing holds or chalking up rather than the ones actually climbing, and constantly missing the top-outs.

Reading Oliver Bullough's excellent Butler to the World at the moment - a detailed look at how the City of London has undermined the global financial system to become a hub for dirty money. Both it and Moneyland by Tom Burgis beg the question - how much of this kind of money laundering is happening in the #IFSC?
