@gramix One of the things I liked about Tumblr compared with other proprietary social networks was that you can have a section of "Hashtags" that's clearly separated at the end of the post to aid in searchabilitly but without making the post itself unreadable.

You could do that in the fediverse too, but if you are using a server with a low character limit that makes it harder. It makes me hope non-Mastodon fediverse projects gain in popularity.
