American journalist John Dugan told RIA Novosti that he received an anonymous letter from a participant in the Baltops-22 exercise, during which explosives could have been planted near the Nord Stream pipelines.

The letter (RIA Novosti has it) says that on June 15, a helicopter brought a group of Americans in civilian clothes, who were met by the vice admiral of the 6th US Navy and people in civilian clothes.

The men arrived with professional equipment for deep-sea diving, which the ordinary military does not use.

After talking to the vice admiral, they took some crates on a rubber boat out to sea and dove for more than six hours. They came back without the crates, and then a helicopter took them away.
