On my way back home from a wonderful edition of #IlCinemaRitrovato in Bologna. As a surprise, I got to see "Quién sabe" as my penultimate screening yesterday – the Damiano Damiani flick from which this year's affiche (poster, bag, catalogue cover) was taken. Nine days, 50+ screenings plus one lecture, around 75 films from 1 to 150 minutes (38 long ones, the rest in programmes of shorts), including live performances by various musicians and the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna.

Just a quick note for those following my #JazzBirthday toots: I'm on vacation in Bologna ... or rather, I'm in the movies in Bologna, morning to night at the terrific #IlCinemaRitrovato festival hosted by the local Cineteca. Will resume duties early/mid next week.
