I remember that once there was an extensive effort at @trans_rescue nee #TransEmigrate but that seemed abandoned due to lack of resources like personnel hours and funding.

According to #ILGA-#Europe (the European branch of the "International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association" — co-funded by the #EU), #Switzerland only ranks 19th in 2022, which corresponds to the upper midfield.

In particular, it is criticised for putting the brakes on the recognition of #nonbinary people, for not protecting #inter people from unnecessary surgeries, and for not covering all #queer people from #hate speech and #crime.

BTW am still helping a young #Afghan #gay male find a way out of Pakistan where he is a refugee. If anyone wants to help support his rent (100 USD) and visa renewal (250 USD) until we are able to find a visa for him elsewhere please let me know. And no not one LGBTQ+ org has helped him including #ILGA, #RainbowRailroad #StonewallUK etc... It'll be a year in a couple of months and he has been on the BBC and in Pink News as he is a well-known activist.
