Two weeks here and already more interaction and useful info than in 3.5y of being "on da Gram". So to speak, but still.
And no selfdeclared knowitall #algorithm that drops more of the same on my plate just because I looked for a millisec too long at a bikini model / cute kitten / skateboard clip / whoknowswhat.
I like @mastodon a lot already. And its federated foundation.
My average use of IG has been decimated.

My first week on Mastodon I found 330 people to connect with, who wanted to connect back. I had some interesting and engaging interactions. Pretty great so far. Week two, here we come.

The other place reminded me of one of those big parties where most people are just talking to one another but a bunch of people get into a debate about politics, start shouting, and drown out everybody else. #ilikemastodon because here I can read about radically new ideas, #anticapitalism, #anticensorship, #anarchism, #climachange, #activism, #foss, #antifa and many more ideas which challenge and sometimes opposes our current system and world view. It's a place for change and #mastodon it self lives this change. It challenges current social media technology and design. It supports it's users and promotes a healthy view on society and it's people by design.
