#NYPD must have a policy of ignoring NO Parking signs. I'm not surprised. After reporting illegal parking with 311, the response is that the NYPD thought there was no reason to take action.

Told by my nephew that this motorcycle has a flip up rear plate to avoid identification. So is it illegally parked? I neglected to photograph the plate or the VIN or remember where it was parked. It was on some side street 8th? around 4th avenue.
I was carrying my phone, maybe Google Maps history has my path. FWIW Google Image search says its a Honda CBR600RR.

Google Timeline says Broadway and 8th, Northeast corner.

Its also parked on the sidewalk.

Was very thoughtful of the driver to illegally park on the sidewalk instead of in the legal parking spot 50 ft behind them. Keeping parking available for local residents should always be applauded…

I guess they could have parked blocking the bus stop, so in that sense it’s a win!

I don't recognize the vehicle, so maybe someone staying at the Airbnb across the street. Someone is parked in the middle of our road that is only wide enough for one vehicle with no on-street parking. Bonus points for blocking our clearly marked driveway with signs on both sides. They're going to have to start hammering down on the endemic illegal parking on Leith Walk before they start running tram tests, otherwise the tram is going to be blocked from moving by the time they get a few feet up or down the Walk.

Drivers have long become habitualised to being able to just dump their cars wherever they want, usually illegally on dbl-yellows, and it's going to take an extended enforcement period to get the message over to them.
