I really wish the North American #train #transit system was better... just out of curiosity, a train from #SpringfieldIL to #Toronto, #Ontario would take me 32 hours for about a 700 mile or 1100 km trip. A flight would be less than 4 hours air time. #rail

Things will be at least a little improved locally when the #IllinoisHighSpeedRail between Chicago and St. Louis is completed around 2025.
