but #writing for an audience of low reading level, is "seen" a more accessible alternative?
See a short word and many early readers understand the relationship between vision and those concepts
I'm leaning toward the larger words to be more inclusive of #blind people, but how can I gauged if this is a high bar for #illiterate people?

@tobyink @lauren Once installed a new #interface (early 90s, text screen stuff) for a client. While explaining/teaching, realized that one person was #illiterate, couldn't read the instructions on the screen. They had learned to hit the right sequence of keys to get the printed delivery note they needed.

So I just practiced with them, until they built the #muscle #memory needed to print the notes.
