Jutussakin nostetun 400 km säteen sisällä ei pitäisi kotimaan lentoja olla ollenkaan, tai varsinkaan valtion rahalla. Muualla Euroopassa on paikoin näin jo linjattukin.

Wallinheimo säästi lentämällä Jyväskylään Forsgrénin käyttämän junamatkan sijaan vain 45 minuuttia, vaikka juna oli 14 min myöhässä ja Wallinheimo saapui kentälle tunnin Finnairin ohjeistusta myöhemmin.
