What do you think of making a series of post thread about tech & computing, like tips & tricks, at #Mastodon?

If you know of one, please tell, so I can follow useful post series.

To get the most out of #Writer, Styles are the way to go (2/2)
You should NOT:
* use direct formatting. To change font size, family, colors, etc. use Styles, not the default menus.
* Use the Italic and Bold. They are not 'true' Styles and they will be a pain to change later on. Instead, use Emphasis and Strong Emphasis (they too are provided by default, no idea why theyβre not used).

To get the most out of #Writer, learning to use Styles is the way to go (1/2)
To name a few of their strengths:
* You can instantly modify any formatting throughout an entire document. No matter how long/complex.
* Styles are always a key press away: F11.
* You can modify existing Styles or create your own.
* You can associate keyboard shortcuts to any Style.
* You can save Styles in a template to instantly reuse them in new documents.
