My wife and I were living in #Israel when #Rabin was assassinated. That was a horrible night. It happened while we were attending a jazz concert at the #IsraelMuseum. I can still remember getting on the bus to go home after the concert. It was dead silent except for the news playing on the radio. My Hebrew isn't great, but it's better than my wife's, so I was trying to translate what the newscaster was saying.
Honestly, it's been all down-hill since then.

When my wife and I were younger and more naive and the Israeli government wasn't quite so terrible, we used to buy Israel bonds every year. We stopped doing that quite a while back. It appears that we will be continuing that boycott for the foreseeable future.
