Neuer Rock: 3/4 Teller, bildschöner Stoff. Leider zuerst falschrum zum Fadenlauf zugeschnitten, deshalb jetzt mit Mittelnaht. Dafür hab ich mir mit allem anderen viel Mühe gegeben. Beleg ordentlich im Nahtschatten gesteppt, Länge gepüstert… @sewing #imademyclothes #naehen @handarbeiten

Final Day of #MeMadeMay , I wear skirt that was sewn by a dear friend of mine and given to me as a gift, I thus don’t know the pattern. I also would never have chosen this pattern for myself, but I wear it often in Summer. Sometimes it’s good to think outside the box and try something else 😊 The top is #Melli by #confettipatterns in rayon Jersey. I made it last summer, but I have several #Melli tops. #imademyclothes @sewing

#MeMadeMay Day 28. We are leaving for a short trip to the family. I wear a #chardon skirt by #deeranddoe. The fabric with the lovely flamingos is recycled bedsheets. Some years ago I bought a bunch of bedsheets on ebay to make pyjamas, but this one was way to lovely to not show it of as a skirt. The top is #plaintain also from #deeranddoe . #imademyclothes @sewing

#MeMadeMay Day 27. Garden Dress. Another Ashland Dress but from Jersey. It is very comfortable and suitable for housework and garden and it was my Muslin for an Ashland Dress in Jersey. Sewn over 5 years ago and just now I am working on the “real” dress… well at least it had time to prove its qualities… #imademyclothes @sewing

#MeMadeMay Day 25. Bertha Dress, again. This one is made from French Terry and has no sleeves, I wear it over a long sleeved top and combined with a cardigan. Today I was in the home office, went to the post office by bike and worked in the garden during my afternoon break, the dress was a good companion during the whole day. #imademyclothes #sewing

#MeMadeMay Day 24. Another office day and it’s cold again. I wear an #Ashland Dress. The fabric is a very nice cotton with a floral print. It reminds me of sleeping beauty as it resembles a rose thorn hedge. The fabric was a gift and the dress was my election day dress (in 2015 or 2016?) - I used to sew a new dress for elections to celebrate democracy, once I had less kids and more spare time. This morning I wore my #Robson Coat, which will forever be the best coat I ever did. #imademyclothes

#MeMadeMay Day 23. Office Day. A *new* #deeranddoe #ondee Sweater. With a very nice anchor print in my most favourite color (petrol dark-green-blueish). Combined with #chardon skirt. I will wear this outfit to give a workshop on dissertation writing strategies today and hope to brighten up the room. Also it reminds me of beloved crafting friends: shawl crocheted by @meikerenschbergner and shoes second hand from @lottikatzkowski (who remained on the bird site 😢) @sewing #imademyclothes #moa

#MeMadeMay Day 22. Finally a warm day. I wear an #anna dress by #byhandlondon made from quilting cotton in blue with very small red roses on it. It has lining and pockets! Unfortunately it is, like most of my self made dresses 5 years old and will soon give up on being worn intensely during the whole summer. I will make at least two new Anna Dresses this year! #MeMadeMay Day 20. I wear a #confettipatterns #Jella Top. The fabric is black rayon Jersey. While I have several Jellas with 3/4 sleeves this is my only long sleeved version and I am not really convinced by the way the sleeves are constructed. Anyway, it is a nice Top for mixed weather and goes well with jeans. #imademyclothes #sewing @sewing

#MeMadeMay on May 6. Wearing my Yoga pants that I will later replace with an old pair of jeans to do some garden work.

The pattern for the pants is copied from some rayon “relax pants” I bought some years ago on a French market. Mine are made from #gauze fabric with a glitter thread weaved in. They are absolutely fine for doing yoga or sitting on the sofa but I would never ever sew real clothes from gauze. No way! @sewing #imademyclothes #sewing

Sorry for being late for #MeMadeMay. Here I am on May 5 in the middle of the usual family chaos and slightly deranged from driving up the hill by bike with this weekend’s grocery shopping.

I wear my favourite #Bertha Dress by Konfetti patterns. The skirt is rayon jersey, the top stretchy cotton jersey. Bertha dresses are my go-to option for looking like wearing a dress while feeling like wearing pyjamas.
