So my first major business contract after leaving #academia just wrapped, delivering a sweet little #CryoEM framework for automated #ImageAnalysis

Biggest surprise?

Paying customers were *LESS* demanding and *MORE* grateful than the majority of users of my previous #FOSS projects.

Small sample size n'at, but interesting to me nonetheless.

The best part is, most of the important things I worked on for that co remains #opensource ... the university based academic model is broken.
