This is Huara, an #artist and member of the #skateboarding group #imillaskate in #Bolivia. I met her one day in #Cochabamba, before I went to #Quillacollo to document the Festival of the Virgin of #Urkupiña. I asked her and her gang if I could take their #portraits. They all said yes. I got some great photos of them in action, but I like this image as it suggests both respect and defiance. This image will not appear in my book “The Hill of the Skull,” but I thought it was too good not to share.
