My first IML was a rollercoaster of an experience. Feels like I just had two years of therapy; so much to unpack and process now.

Went to Raising Cane’s to get lunch. With several massive events going on, the store was overwhelmed; they had to cease taking orders to catch up, which thankfully I’d already ordered. It took nearly an hour to get my food, which I was okay waiting as I knew I’d get it eventually. But I felt so bad for the employees who were doing everything they could, despite some customers actually yelling at them.

Please, always be kind to service folks. It’s hard work and they deserve respect. 🖤

Meanwhile, I went to The Wormhole coffee shop earlier today in Whicker Park (sp?). The barista had these badass weighted earrings, and was kind enough to let me take a photo. 😊🖤

Now, on to happier things. It's IML weekend and I will be spending almost the entire weekend manning a sling. Come say hi if you are around. I'm not pictured here, but I will also be spending some time in the sling.

So my partner is busy with contestant stuff until 7pm. The event doesn’t officially start u til tomorrow, so I’m kind of left to my own devices for the next six hours.

I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed by Chicago, which is typical for me, plus being in a hotel full of Leatherfolk. Everyone is so damn sexy, and my brain doesn’t well handle processing this much stimuli.

But sharing here, I’m finding that helpful. So I’ll keep sharing stuff. Y’all are like a sanctuary. 🖤:leather_flag:
