@leroy yeah it’s been so long for me as well as I’ve been lucky enough to work on platforms that have great docs as they have a robust community and massive corporate backing.

Given the still relatively young state of the #immersiveweb, the docs aren’t perfect.

It’s like moving from an apartment complex to building a house yourself. It’s a lot of work, but it’s satisfying.

Hello! I’m a former Apple Engineer, specifically I worked on #visionpro. I recently left to pursue a #startup in the #immersiveweb space.

Currently I’m working on building a spatial UI library that combines physics, 2D UI, layout, intuitive hand interactions, and 3D content into one approachable API. All using THREE.js, AMMO.js, and WebComponents.

Other than that, I’m an amateur film maker, photographer, and woodworker.

Every now and then I seen an exciting looking immersive world that seems to tick the boxes. I visit the site and see one of two things that make me roll my eyes and click away:

1) Anything blockchain/crypoto/NFT/web3
2) Any form of downloading anything

The immersive future I’m interested in is powered by the web, it’s open, and is available to anyone with a browser on any platform.
