Another #SilentSunday #photography submission. This one was taken during a private tour of the #EllisIsland #ImmigrantHospital. The tragic story that runs through my head when I see this is how much someone sacrificed in search of a better life in America, only to have it just out of reach as they ended up looking out at Lady Liberty from their window in the hospice wing on Ellis Island.
