Question For Fellow Immigrants: An acquaintance emailed me last year & said that, since he's only been communicating with Japanese people year in year out, he now finds difficulty relating to people of his own background/culture/skin color, nationality, etc. Sort of a superiority complex.

Have any of you ever experienced this? If so, how did you deal with it? I'd appreciate any insight.

It’s only November 11. Where the heck is it all going to GO? *sobs*

As a non-snow place immigrant, living alone in chilly rural Canada, snow is a real challenge for me. I didn’t grow up shovelling it & I find it utterly exhausting. Worse - where to put it!? It’s not gonna melt before spring, I bet.
