Release upgrades have always gone super smoothly for me with Fedora Silverblue, and today’s upgrade to 38 was no exception! Upgrading in-place like we did with traditional distros seems barbaric now. I’m glad we don’t do that anymore.. :)

Toyed around with openSUSE MicroOS Desktop in a VM this evening. I’m a fan of immutable distros having used Silverblue, NixOS, and EndlessOS the most but hadn’t tried MicroOS yet.
Initial impressions are great! Very easy to get going and customise. Flathub on by default, installing and switching my shell to fish “just worked” in the usual way. This is a very approachable immutable distro.
