Wow. That is great proactive service from #F1TV. They could have cited terms and conditions that say "we are under no obligation to refund subscriptions due to consequences that are out of control etc etc etc" or some legal jargon and just moved on. They could have been silent and not done anything. But they opted to extend the subscription by 7 days in exchange for the #ImolaGP being cancelled due to bad weather.

Unfortunately due to the weather and subsequent flooding in the #EmiliaRomagna region the #F1 #imolagp has been cancelled and due to the packed calendar this year it is unlikely to be held at another time in this season.
So that just leaves #Indy500 qualifying this week until the #MonacoGP next week.

The president of the Italian Automobile Club, Angelo Sticchi Damiani, stated:

‘Imola GP is cancelled. 99% chance it will be re-scheduled for 2026 after the contract extension.’

Watched the #ImolaGP and brand new anger due to Leclerc dropping from P3 to P8 (finished P6) within the last ten laps of the race. Plus seeing Sainz retire during the first lap due to Ricciardo was heartbreaking. Big positive from this race was Lando Norris taking a podium position and his celebration laugh on the mic 😂
