Remove the batteries, clean the contacts, put new batteries in. Recycle old batteries when possible. Chances are, your device has many more years of life. We donated an expensive kit for the #hearing #impaired for phone, doorbell and other things, which my mom had used. 3 AAA batteries leaked a little and they through it all in the garbage. We retrieved it and will donate elsewhere. #notphp

I known that several european countries have a usability law for years and maybe #google could help to meet standards for dev tools ;)

If you'd (and other visually challenged Linux users) reach the developers out (with a memo or so via your needs and experience) we'd get probably to the next levels with this visually impaired specialized distribution.
