Sometimes, I like to remember that #America still makes bold and #awesome choices, even if we stumble like all nations do.
We are #imperfect but we are kind and decent people who know right from wrong.
Being wrong is easy and can be done quickly
Being right is difficult and it takes far more time. This is why progress in the face of #fascism seems slow. And fucking annoying.
But we're doing it, people.

I try really hard not to fall into the trap of complaining about products/companies on here. But I'm super peeved about #Imperfect produce. I'd restarted my subscription this winter in large part because I'd heard the company had unionized. I really like getting a semi-randomized box of produce delivered to span trips to the grocery store.
But it's QUITE apparent that their branding about saving food waste is just spin to cover their "disruption" of the market or whatever. They buy the rejected produce for rock bottom prices, mark up the prices drastically, and brand it as a sort of charity so customers feel good about getting ripped off.
Look at this Acorn Squash that they charged me $2 for. TWO DOLLARS. There's maybe 4 bites of actual food in there.
