I'm going through my Free Comic Book Day #Comics and noticed that I forgot about the #2022 #IncalUniverse issue. #Humanoids is expanding and publishing new comics in the #JodoVerse. Of course we'll be missing #Moebius, but it's good that the comics are not laid dormant. #PsychoVerse and #TheDyingStar are already out as it seems and #KillWolfhead will be available next month.

Loved this except for one thing…it’s too small! My other volumes dwarf this one. The #incal - Psychoverse by Mark Russell, Yanick Paquette and Dave McCaig

A few notes on reading the #Incal cycle in its black and white coffee table book edition:
1. According to Scott McCloud, I think, black and white art lands very differently from color art, because it directs the focus more to ideas contained in it. This theory seems to hold up. My response to it is less visceral, more analytical in this form compared to the version I had with Yves Chaland's original colors.
2 There were some times when my focus was technical, especially on the print quality.

Habe gerade bei einem Bücherkeller einen mittleren Berg an #Asterix, #LuckyLuke und #Jodorovsky ergattert. Jetzt sitzt Kind #1 (fast 6, aber des Buchstabensalates noch nicht mächtig) seit fast 1 1/2 Stunden auf dem Sofa und will nicht essen, nicht trinken und nichts anderes tun als #Comics lesen. Irgendwie bin ich irritiert, stolz und neidisch gleichzeitig :)

Den #Incal hab ich ihm aber nicht gegeben.
