The old Chessie System logo is my favorite incomprehensible logo.

That form in the negative space? It's a kitten sleeping on a pillow. Seriously. A kitten…sleeping on a pillow…because of the soft ride on Chessie System trains promoted in a previous ad campaign.

Mainly, it looks like what-on-earth-is-that. Love it!
