Hey people! I'm using an app called Indigenous. It's looking really fun to use, altough not exactly offering the coolest looking interface for each app, it does allow for a seemingly lot of #interoperability. So far, I think I can publish to this Mastodon #kolektiva instance. My next step is trying to understand what IndieWeb, W3C(?), micropub and microsub is. Any one has any advice where to start?
So, my desire for now is to be able to actually post to my blogs hosted on wordpress, so that I can make the workflow easier on me and be able to post more content for RSS feeds.
Of course, in the future, I still need to learn to implement those RSS and activitypub feeds, into actual accounts on other readers, and media, so that people can receive them easily.
I'm hoping this way I can actually help IndieMedia and citizen Journalists to figure out easy and quick ways to report #news and speak truth to power, protect and stand for their rights and do it #independently. Well, it's an investigation in progress...

I see a lot of people talking in #Mastodon about #verification and it makes me slightly crazy. The entire point of #Mastodon is to DE-centralize communication and provide an ALTERNATIVE to the centralized, singularly managed, biased authentication and verification systems. #Mastodon and it’s #Servers are run #independently. You don’t HAVE to verify who you are. #Twitter #verification is nothing but a tool to separate the haves and the have-nots. Don’t base your online persona around a checkmark
