Ramaswamy is an example why most Asian Americans that I know (including me) do not consider Indians (the people from the subcontinent of India) are NOT Asian.

They are a race/ethnicity in and of themself and have virtually nothing in common with Asians from China, Japan and Southeast Asia.

It's time to STOP calling them Asian Americans!!!!

They're Indian Americans (not Native Americans) and have nothing in common w/me a 3rd Gen Born Chinese American.
