Virgins from Hell is a 1987 Indonesian exploitation movie so you can be sure of two things - it’s going to be totally nuts and it’s going to be hugely entertaining.

It has a delightfully unhinged flavour to it with no shortage of wtf moments. It makes no concessions to realism.

Girls in skimpy costumes with guns, on motorcycles - it works for me.

If you haven't discovered 1980s-90s Indonesian cult movies you're missing out. "The Devil’s Sword" (1984) is one of the best.

It has a magic sword, lots of martial arts, lots of swordplay, plenty of black magic, an evil queen, a beautiful heroine and as much sex as the Indonesian censor would allow.

A non-stop roller coaster ride of sheer unadulterated fun.
