Where I live every 4-5 years there is a grasshopper infestation. Last year was one of those years. When the surprise lilies(naked ladies to some) came up I didn't want to lose them to the grasshoppers, so I cut them all and brought them indoors. Had lilies inside for over a month. Got to take LOTS of pictures. It was fun and the grasshoppers didn't win this one!

Sometimes you go beyond anything to get a photo and still can’t get a decent shot. Sometimes you find something shootworthy near your home, your commute or like me today — your vestibule.

This stone and pinecone have been sitting on our stand for a year or two. Everyday I see them but today something clicked in my head.

Collecting stones etc from the ground is the first sympton of madness they say 😂

This was a winter indoors photo. Taken at my mate Jon's place. As a Thin Lizzy fanatic of course he has a Black Rose (albeit a fake one). Taken against a kitchen splashback illuminated by the cabinet pelmut lights.
