Das ist nämlich rund ums Jahr der Fall. Entweder blühen sie oder die bilden einen neuen Trieb. Da müssen sie jetzt durch🤷🏽‍♀️

Weil es hier jetzt andauernd regnet, hab ich einen großen Teil meiner #zimmerpflanzen wieder aus dem Garten reingeholt. Die werden einfach überhaupt nicht mehr trocken und weder Kakteen noch Sukkulenten gefällt das🤷🏽‍♀️🌵🪴

So früh war ich noch nie dran.

i helped my mom repot this #phalaenopsis #orchid. we trimmed a bunch of the rotted & dead roots & put it in a new pot with fresh medium.

i started getting really into the weeds sharing with my mom how this plant grows on trees & then moss grows over the roots & then leaf litter falls from higher in the canopy & covers the roots also... and i could just see my mom's eyes glaze over.. she just wants to know how to pot it up! 😅

I've spoken to a lot of ppl who either haven't seen a spider plant in flower or don't believe that they do. My plant Tina has a mega branch this year with many flowers and pups. These flowers don't seem to last long, so you have to keep an eye on your spider plant.

christmas cactus help requested from the #gardening world!

this is a very old cactus whose roots have basically rotted completely away. it lives in my mom's house. she says she has special "cactus potting mix" and that we should just transplant it. but given the lack of roots, who knows.

does anyone else have tips for bringing this poor friend back? its neighbor in pic 2 is doing ok!

Spent the afternoon with my brother making part one of my sister's 50th present. She is a lab tech at a school so converted a conical flask to a terrarium for her. Ich wollte mir im Rahmen eines neues Lebensabschnitts ein Lebewesen zur gelegentlichen Pflege anschaffen und hatte dabei an eine Büropflanze 🌷 gedacht.
Da mir der Satz: "Jede #Pflanze ist pflegeleicht - es kommt darauf an, was sie ihr antun." 💀 jetzt nicht so hilfreich war, hab ich einfach hierzu gegriffen.

Und einen Namen hab ich der Pflanze auch noch nicht gegeben.
