Increased the stroke rate 22-24 and lowered the drag 130-125 but it still aggravated my lower back, scuppering my 6x target

1 minute on, 1 minute off, x16. Slow start. 1:38 pace seemed too easy, but it soon starts to bite as the lactate accumulates. Kept focusing on tiny improvements but struggled to get the stroke rate up higher than 32
8’ warmup, 8’ cool down

"For athletes who are having trouble getting into a strong catch position, it may help to move the heel height lower. This foot position is more common for athletes with smaller feet, those with less flexibility, and those with larger bellies. In these cases, the strap may not be across the top of the ball joint, but it is a necessary change to allow for full compression at the catch."

I'm still doing the 4x4:00/1:00r row. I'll probably change it up at some point but I like seeing the progress.

Today’s Concept2 WOD. 12x250m intervals with 45” recovery. 45 seconds isn’t enough time to recover, which is kind of the point. Lots of lactate.
