There is no good #mining, it's all bad.
The worst kind of mining is that done primarily to satisfy human vanity, like #diamonds (cheap manufactured diamonds are just as beautiful and #industrially useful), and #PreciousMetals.
I didn't realize how widespread and damaging "#ArtisanalMining" for #gold is, and after watching this, I've just decided I won't buy any more vanity items like #jewelry from mined materials.
It won't make a difference, but it's a thing I can do.
