The #SNP seems to be the only party in #Scotland calling for rejoining the #EU and being honest about the cost of Brexit. So out of nowhere I get invited by a friend to go see the #indycar and #nascar double header at the IMS (where the Indy 500 is!!!) road course this weekend and even walk part of the track.

There is a yard of bricks on the track because it originally was built with bricks. Hence, the speedway is also called the “Brick Yard”.

Clouds are getting dark around the #Indy metro. Here are views from Carmel, @IMS, and the @uindy campus.

Rain is staying away from those areas now, but that will changing over the next 15-30 minutes at #IMS and Univ of Indianapolis.

I didn't get a chance to go this year. Usually my partner has a booth there, but they were busy selling their house and moving into mine (out of the burbs into downtown).

Honestly, I wouldn't blame #GenCon if they left...but this con represents OUR values as #Indy. Nerds are educated, weird, diverse, inquisitive, creative, and loving.

I think the biggest threat for severe storms tonight in Indiana will be south of a line from Newport, IN to Columbus, IN. The main threat will be gusty winds and heavy downpours.
