Infinity Pool is a movie. Real sets, real actors, real script and I really don't know what the fuck I just watched. At one point, James takes a hallucinogen and that's when I most related to his character, because I felt high for most of this film. Ask me about it in 6 months.

In der #Sneak lieg #Sisu! Der Film ist echt gut, aber ich den bereits beim Fantasy Filmfest gesehen habe, bin ich schnell in den Saal nebenan zu #InfinityPool geschlichen. Hat mir auch sehr gefallen. #kino

This movie was a trip. Unnerving, fucking bizarre, and absolutely original- with yet another tremendous performance by Mia Goth. (Everyone was great in it, she was just exemplary.) It makes me so happy that the Cronenberg name continues to make unique and provocative movies. Brandon's movies have the same DNA as his dad's, but make entirely new creatures with it. Loved it.

#InfinityPool is a strange #film, but I wouldn't call it horror. It's like a mixture of Gregg Araki, Cronenberg (the father), and random weirdness, that seems to encapsulate some strange fantasies and bad holiday experiences. It says Cronenberg (the son) got inspiration from actual experiences he had on unsatisfying vacations. Wherever he goes on holiday you should probably avoid it. One thing Brandon Cronenberg achieved was to make Alexander Skarsgaard unsexy, and that's quite something.

I just watched Brandon Cronenbergs Infinity Pool and am sorry to say that I found most of it kinda forgettable. Mia Goth is amazing but the script doesn't even come close to covering her range. I feel this gets overhyped quite a bit. #InfinityPool #MiaGoth

In fact, the opening intimate conversation between husband and wife reminded me very much of the opening of #DavidCronenberg's adaptation of Ballard's CRASH.

It bothered me very slightly that Mia Goth's character's description of the titular "infinity pool" isn't correct... but as the narrative progresses, I realised this was intentional... I think. #InfinityPool
