A good question from @TeaKayB about #InformalLearning in #museums, though for me "standards" (as well as the similar phrase "best practices" that isn't used here) aren't part of my practice because of the need for cultural responsiveness. So much depends on context, eh? Still, I sense that he's searching for comparisons or places to start.

@TeaKayB To be clear, are you specifically searching for "object-based learning" theoretical approaches, or more how objects/artworks are incorporated into other theories and frameworks?

For example, both the general Montessori and inquiry-centered frameworks use objects/artworks, but they aren't central to either.

I think I remember some evaluation reports on the subject, but it depends what we're really discussing.
